The amount of drink and drugs this man could put away is legendary amongst all who know or have heard of him. Martin was never into the sex ‘n’ drugs ‘n’ rock ‘n’ roll. He just wanted the sex ‘n’ drugs. The rock ‘n’ roll was a way into that. I met Martin in a pub I used to work in – The Throstles Nest – and we became friends immediately and have remained so to this day. I’ve got a cracking pic of Martin when we did a gig in someone’s house for a birthday party (left) and you can see for yourself. The kind of stuff this man has got up to would have you shaking your head in disbelief – unless you knew him (and even then you might blink a little and furrow your brow) – but I know the man. And to know him is to love him. This guy has done more for me than any other person outside of my family and for that I shall thank him forever. Cheers, Mully. Big kiss.
