Martin was never into the sex &#8216;n&#8217; drugs &#8216;n&#8217; rock &#8216;n&#8217; roll. He just wanted the sex &#8216;n&#8217; drugs. The rock &#8216;n&#8217; roll was a way into that. I met Martin in a pub I used to work at in Old Trafford &#8211; The Throstles Nest &#8211; and we became friends immediately and have remained so to this day. I&#8217;ve got a cracking pic of Martin when we did a gig in someone&#8217;s house for a birthday party (left) and you can see for yourself. The kind of stuff this man has got up to would have you shaking your head in disbelief &#8211; unless you knew him (and even then you might blink a little and furrow your brow) &#8211; but I know the man. And to know him is to love him. This guy has done more for me than any other person outside of my family and for that I shall thank him forever. <\/span>Cheers, Mully.
